After performing most of the renovations themselves, the group opened Cabaret Dada, an improvisational theatre in the Warehouse District in downtown Cleveland, Ohio in May 1995. Running continuously in the same location from 1995 to 2006, it is one of the longest running shows in America outside of New York or Chicago.
Due partly to its location and longevity, it has proven to be one of the top feeders to larger theaters, and several of their performers have also performed as part of The Second City.
The theatre closed down in 2006, but Something Dada continues to perform improvisational comedy every at the Tower Press Building in Cleveland.
"Cabaret Dada" refers to the theater, and "Something Dada" refers to the comedy troupe.
